M. Marcus celebrates its 80th year in business

M. Marcus makes Clerkenwell Design Week debut in 2020

M. Marcus, Midlands-based manufacturer of decorative door, cabinet and electrical hardware and the company behind well recognised brand Heritage Brass, will be exhibiting at Clerkenwell Design Week for the first time in 2020. To celebrate its 80th anniversary, the company is undertaking its largest ever product launch by reinventing and tripling its cabinet hardware offering. The brand new designs, finishes and textures will be showcased at the festival for visitors to see and feel first hand.

Visitors will also be amongst the first to see the company’s new range of pre-painted, gloss finished switches and sockets. Pankaj Karnani, Company Director, explains, “The upcoming electrical launch will enable designers and homeowners to specify the exact colour of their face plates to create wiring accessories that blend seamlessly into its surroundings. The gloss finish enhances durability and ensures a luxurious look and feel to create a discreet yet elegant product.”

Originating in 1940 in the East End of London, M. Marcus moved premises to Dudley in the 1980s with the founder’s two sons, Narendra and Pankaj, taking over as company directors. From conception to current day, the family run business has focussed on creating innovative designs whilst upholding their core values of excellent customer service and quality products.
